There are times in our life when we become very irritated, frustrated, or we keep on shouting at others unnecessarily. This is when we need to watch within ourselves that what could be the reason behind this.

We can analyze the reason and think about how to improve the situation:

a. We are focusing more on the negative side of people and circumstances: We need to self-reflect and work on changing our mindset

Things start from the inside out. It’s when we start focusing more on our positive emotions like

  1. Being relaxed: Enjoy our favorite meal, hobbies like music, drawing, meditating, and being with nature.
  2. Calm: Focusing on the silver lining instead of worrying and enjoying our work.
  3. Being thankful and blessed: Express gratitude and feel blissful for all we have.
  4. Being committed: Do things regularly at a fixed time slot and make effort to complete things before the deadline to avoid the trap of guilt and inner criticism.
  5. Practicing self-control: We feel more personal freedom by practicing more self-control instead of others governing our actions and efforts.
  6. Compassionate towards oneself and others: We deserve our own love, kindness, and compassion more than anyone else in this whole universe. We can think about what I learned and how I can improve the situation next time.
  7. Generosity: It's one trait that gives us immense happiness. By giving others what they require, we multiply blessing and happiness in our life. We must keep aside at least 10 percent of our salary for helping others.

Last but not the least, we must try to minimize contact with toxic and negative people to focus more on the positive side of our life.

b. Our energies are getting devoted more towards unproductive actions: Sometimes we focus more on doing unnecessary and less productive tasks. It results in less satisfaction and yield. 

On the contrary, when we do high-priority tasks and the ones that lead us directly towards our goals, our self-esteem level goes automatically up and it gives a high dose of positivity and confidence.

We must choose three tasks or skills that could contribute towards increasing our income. Other less important activities should be minimized by either delegating them to others or paying someone else if required keeping those out of our schedule.

c. Analysis paralysis and not taking decisions: Sometimes we keep on planning but end up doing nothing. It leads to low output and frustration. 

On the other hand, when we start doing even a little bit of action, we can figure out how we can proceed further and it builds up momentum. It will channelize our efforts towards achieving results rather than continuous efforts for undirected energies.

e. We are not giving ourselves a break, and not pampering ourselves: This way we start feeling tired and our mind’s efficiency drops due to continuous working.

To avoid the saturation phase we must give time to revitalize ourselves. Our minds will open up to look for different possibilities in life. Pampering ourselves will make us feel important and loved.

f. We are not sharing our problems with anyone or not approaching the right person for help: If we’ll not share our problems then we will remain stuck there only. In order to get out of this swamp, we must ask every person we meet about the solution, search the internet, read books and look from every possible source. It will definitely take us a little bit towards the answer.

g. We are not trying enough: We try but leave the task in between due to lack of patience if we do not see any instant results. It's like a man pumping the water from the water hand pump, the water is coming up in the pipe but not out of the tap. But when he leaves the handle, the water goes back down again. But, if he keeps on pumping, water comes out. So, we shouldn't stop trusting ourselves and keep on trying till we get the results. 

The last mile run makes most of the difference. Sometimes, in the marathon, a person who is ahead of everyone becomes complacent and stops running with his full power while the person behind him crosses the endpoint before him and wins the race. It is a little effort and small choices that take us ahead of others.

Therefore, it is very much necessary to look for the possibilities and positive side instead of dropping out in between, so as to channelize our negative emotions into positive energy.
